Your Wedding
A wedding is one of life’s most wonderful moments: a time of love, commitment and solemn promise as well as a party. One of the most famous stories about Jesus happened at a wedding. The wedding at Cana was about to run out of wine, and Jesus turned water into large amounts of the best wine anyone had ever tasted – which shows you what Jesus thought of a good wedding.

Can we get married at Kendal Parish Church?
We like to say ‘yes’, but there are a few rules about whether you can get married in a particular church. You can find these here.
But please contact us to make sure.
What will our ceremony be like?
Some people choose a very traditional ceremony; others like to have their favourite music and a friend reading a much-loved poem. Others invite an orchestra or choir to play and sing! We will help you to choose your hymns, music and Bible readings.
Where can we get more information about church weddings?
