We would love you to come and join us as we worship God together. We provide a broad range of services, including the best of modern worship and the jewels of the Anglican tradition.
Why Come to Church
Each of us is made in God’s own image – unique and beautiful; valued and loved. All different. At KPC we do our best to reflect this by helping everyone to connect with God in the best way for them.
We hold baptisms (also known as Christenings) on Sundays during one of the morning services or in a separate service at 1pm or 2pm. If you want to know more, please get in touch through the church office.
Kendal Parish Church’s magnificent interior and scenic surroundings provide the perfect venue for your wedding. But a church wedding doesn’t provide just a beautiful setting, it’s also about God’s help for you as you begin married life together.
At Kendal Parish Church we are dementia friendly and seek to ensure that all people living with dementia are warmly welcomed and are considered in all that we do.
We have a Tea Service every month, followed by refreshments and fellowship and the occasional sing song.
We have a designated area in church called The Anna Chaplaincy Hub, here you will find information relating to activities for senior citizens in our locality along with useful information about where you can get help for people living with dementia and their carers. It is a comfortable area where you can sit, pray or just be still for a while.
The death of a loved one can be a distressing, confusing and lonely time. Many people choose to have a service at Kendal Parish Church before, or after, a cremation or burial.
