At Kendal Parish Church we are  dementia friendly and seek to ensure that all people living with dementia are warmly welcomed and are considered in all that we do.

We have a Tea Service every month, followed by refreshments and fellowship and the occasional sing song.

We have a designated area in church called The Anna Chaplaincy Hub, here you will find information relating to  activities for senior citizens in our locality along with useful information about where you can get help   for people living with dementia and their carers. It is a comfortable area where you can sit, pray or just be still for a while.

Beverley Moore is Anna Chaplain for the Kendal area and Dementia Enabler for our church and can be contacted at: [email protected]

During the coronavirus pandemic we were unable to meet in person, however we began to record some services on a monthly basis from around the lakes, these can be accessed by clicking the links further down this page:

We are now able to hold our Tea Services back in church so, if you have not been before, are a regular or are just curious, do come along and you will be warmly welcomed. The dates of our Tea Services for 2022 are:
