We believe passionately our faith is to be lived out practically in the world, working for equity, justice and peace. One of the ways we do this is by helping the Christian organization Traidcraft fight poverty through fair trade.
Why Do We Support Traidcraft?
Need knows no borders, nor does God’s love. At KPC we believe it is our responsibility as Christians to support those in need wherever they are. Churches’ support has been critical to Traidcraft’s growth and achievements. It remains critical in the present economic downturn.
We support Traidcraft by using, purchasing and promoting their fairly traded goods, which makes a practical difference to the lives of disadvantaged producers and their families in the developing world.

You can also help by buying Traidcraft goods and remembering their work in your prayers:
Lord Jesus,
give us your heart for the poor so that their needs shape the choices we make;
fill us with righteous anger so that we are moved to action on their behalf and raise our voice in the face of injustice;
guard us from the peril of empty prayers and faith without deeds.
So may we help build your kingdom. Amen.
Lord Jesus,
you overturn the tables of the Temple traders
and rage at those who take advantage of the poor and powerless.
You seek out and stand in solidarity with those discarded and damaged by the system and tell them they are beloved of God.
