The Organ Concerts series was instituted in October 2016. Concerts are held fortnightly on Fridays from 12.30 – 1.15pm. Admission is free with retiring collection. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available before each concert. Our top class recitalists play fugues by Bach, French toccatas, orchestral transcriptions and much more!
Come along and listen to the King of Instruments in the amazing setting of the Parish Church, Kendal’s most historic building. Pipe organs interact physically with their surrounding architecture, offering a truly immersive auditory experience. The tone and the delicacies of touch inspire the player and listener. Enjoy the myriad sounds of the mighty main organ, the mechanical delights of the Bevington organ, and the delicacy of the chamber organ.
