Every Tuesday at 10.00am in the Parr Chapel.
Meditation, known also as contemplative prayer, is the prayer of silence. It is not new but deeply rooted in the Christian tradition – it is about listening and being, rather than doing.
On Tuesday mornings members of the meditation group meet together in the Parr Chapel, light a candle, listen to a short reading and then sit in stillness and silence. We all lead busy lives so we have learned to value the peace, clarity and sense to renewal that silence can bring. It reminds us that God is the still point at the centre. You are most welcome to join us.
